1. Grounding method

Grounding is both economical and practical. If static electricity is generated in the process by means of collision, induction, or conduction, the charge stored on a metal device insulating the ground, a conductive product, or the human body will release energy in a discharge. This electrostatic discharge is the main cause of electrostatic damage during the attack. Its defense method is to ground all conductive targets, and maintain a low ground resistance, quickly stored in metal equipment, conductive products or human charges to the ground to prevent sudden electrostatic destruction events.

2. Increased humidity method

Increasing the relative humidity of the air in the working environment is also a commonly used electrostatic protection measure in the traditional industrial production process. If the surface of the material is hydrophilic, it will simply absorb moisture from the air under high humidity conditions, thereby reducing the surface resistance of the material, increasing the rate of charge escape, and minimizing the degree of charge accumulation. These substances include cotton, paper and acetate. In the factory production process, humidifier, ground watering, or steam injection and other methods are generally chosen to increase the relative humidity of the production environment air.
