Static separation
Traditionally, static sorting has been used more. Static, refers to the cell parameters and working state is irrelevant. Typically, parameters used for static sorting include battery capacity, open circuit voltage, and internal resistance.

Some in the preliminary grouping, and then in the group to another parameter as the object of investigation, continue to make the cell more detailed grouping. For example, after the first capacity is divided into 5 groups, and then according to the internal resistance, each group is further divided into 3 groups, and finally, a batch of cells are divided into 15 groups.
